Our Philosophy

A personalized approach to healing & wellness.

At The Holistic Method, wellness is approached with the belief that the body has an incredible natural ability to heal when properly supported. Through the right nourishment, environment, and lifestyle foundations, the body can move toward balance and wellness in ways many people never realized were possible.

Rather than masking symptoms with temporary solutions, The Holistic Method takes a root-cause approach focused on understanding the individual, identifying underlying imbalances, and creating sustainable strategies that support true healing and long-term wellness.

About Lisa

Root-cause wellness guidance designed around the individual.

At The Holistic Method, wellness is approached with the belief that the body has an incredible natural ability to heal when properly supported. Founded by Lisa Widmer, a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) graduating with honours from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, The Holistic Method focuses on supporting the body through nourishment, lifestyle, and foundational wellness practices to help individuals move toward balance and long-term wellness.

Lisa became passionate about holistic nutrition and wellness through a deep desire to help people move beyond simply managing symptoms and instead uncover what may truly be contributing to how they feel. She believes many conventional approaches focus primarily on symptom suppression rather than identifying and addressing the root cause of dysfunction.

Her approach is centered around taking the time to fully understand each individual as a whole person – not just a list of symptoms. Through personalized guidance, Lisa considers all contributing factors, including nutrition, lifestyle, stress, nervous system health, environment, emotional well-being, movement, and daily habits to help clients build a sustainable path toward better health.

Rather than masking symptoms with temporary solutions, The Holistic Method takes a root-cause approach focused on understanding the individual, identifying underlying imbalances, and creating sustainable strategies that support true healing and long-term wellness.

Lisa is passionate about working with individuals who are ready to take an active role in their wellness journey and who want to better understand their bodies through professional guidance and support.

With over 14 years of coaching experience and a lifelong commitment to helping others feel stronger physically and mentally, Lisa brings a grounded, supportive, and results-driven perspective to holistic wellness.

Her philosophy is simple: the body is always communicating, healing is possible, and true wellness comes from supporting the body as a whole – not just chasing symptoms.

The goal is not only symptom relief, but helping clients achieve greater vitality, balance, resilience, and a renewed enthusiasm for life.
